All Junior Circle Members will receive VIP passes for SCOPEHamptons to be held for its fourth consecutive year from July 24th-27th (77 Industrial Road, Wainscott, NY 11975). The VIP pass allows you to attend the fair at all regular hours (Friday/Saturday, July 25th and 26th, 12-8 pm, Sunday, July 27th, 12-6 pm), and includes FirstView, the opening night to be held on Thursday, July 24th, 5-8 pm, and other special activities. Also on the calendar for this same July weekend is Hampton Tropicalia, a special cocktail and dinner party hosted by fellow members, Santiago Garza and Esperanza Leon, especially for our membership and other special guests. It is to be held on Saturday, July 26th, at 6:30 pm, in the Village of East Hampton. There will be cocktails, a performance, an art exhibition (www.artsolar.com), and dinner. Finally, don't forget to save the date on your calendar for Guild Hall's yearly Summer Gala on August 8th, held in conjunction with the fabulous new exhibition, Larry Rivers: Major Early Works (August 9-October 19, 2008). There will be a Cocktail Preview at Guild Hall beginning at 6 pm. The party continues nearby at Mulford Farm with Cocktails and Jazz by the Larry Rivers Climax Band, beginning at 7 pm, followed by Dinner, a Live Auction, and more live music with Peter Duchin and his Orchestra, starting at 8 pm.
Keep in mind that the Junior Circle is again hosting the Members Preview of the Larry Rivers exhibition, which will open to the public at Guild Hall on Saturday, August 9th, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
